Two Farnham firms of solicitors have announced that they are to merge with effect from 1st October. The new firm will trade as Kidd Rapinet incorporating Aylwins.
Kidd Rapinet and Aylwins will join forces from that date and strongly believe that the merged firm will bring added value to both sets of existing clients.
Kidd Rapinet is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year, and has seven offices in London and the South East, with 28 Partners managing its full range of services. The local Partners will still be Sandra Meakins, who moved to Farnham when the firm opened in 2002, and Peter Wood who moved from another Kidd Rapinet office in 2004.
Aylwins have been operating in Farnham for the last eleven years under the guidance of Principal Solicitor Jo Aylwin. With a strong family background in the town over generations, Aylwins have an enviable client base and a very large number of local contacts. Jo herself is President of the Farnham Chamber of Commerce and will continue to be a partner in the enlarged firm. Aylwins clients will enjoy the benefit of extended services that will now be available.
Paul Taylor, Kidd Rapinet’s Senior Partner commented: "Kidd Rapinet is a modern forward-looking law firm with a strong combination of skills and resources, offering an extensive range of services to today’s individual and business clients. A quick and efficient response, personal contact and good communication are all cornerstones of our high quality yet cost-effective service".
Kidd Rapinet Farnham’s Managing Partner, Peter Wood added: "We are delighted to have the benefits that Jo Aylwin brings with her and all clients of the merged firm, both large and small, will have the same professional, partner-led service, tailored to meet their specific needs. We look forward to an exciting future together in Farnham".
