Review of rights of co-habitees on death

by Kidd Rapinet on November 10, 2009

The Law Commission recently announced an intention to review the rights of unmarried couples arising on the death of one of the partners where neither partner had made a Will. The current laws governing distribution of the deceased’s assets have been in existence for 80 years and are considered by some to be out of touch with modern conventions. Kidd Rapinet Solicitors in Slough are able to provide advice on the making of a Will, Probate matters and rights between co-habiting partners, including advice on joint ownership of property, for clients throughout the Slough and Windsor area.
