Philip Jackson

Philip has been with the firm since 2011, having trained with Kidd Rapinet before being admitted as a Solicitor in 2013.

He specialises in two main areas. He is a Litigation specialist handling Civil, Commercial and Landlord and Tenant litigation and Dispute Resolution work. He is also an integral member of the firm’s Immigration Law department.

In relation to the former, Philip gained extensive experience acting for the Smithfield Market Tenants Association in London when it came to the matter of negotiating commercial lease renewals with the Landlord, the City of London.

He has gone on to build a specialism in Landlord and Tenant disputes, acting for both landlords and tenants whether it be collecting arrears, dealing with deposits or enforcing agreements.

Philip’s litigation experience is not just limited to Property Law matters, though, as he has been involved in a number of litigious matters such as Licensing Law, Employment Law, Contract Law disputes and Debt Collection.

Kidd Rapinet’s Immigration department has, meanwhile, maintained its 100% success rate in £200,000 and £50,000 Entrepreneur applications since Philip has been involved. He has successfully been involved in applications for a variety of clients including businesses, private clients and a chairman of a prominent professional football club.

He has worked on applications across the board dealing with £1 million investors, Tier 2 businesses seeking licences, Tier 2 employees seeking sponsorship and students under the Points Based System, Appeals, Judicial Reviews, partnership-based applications and discretionary applications to name but a few.

Outside of work, Philip also relishes a challenge. He has completed a variety of sporting events, including the London Marathon, the Brighton Marathon and the Edinburgh Marathon, the London Triathlon and charity bike rides from Hampton to Hove and London to Brighton.
