‘Our litigation services are designed to help resolve legal disputes cost-effectively, and cover a broad spectrum from individual or commercial disagreements and personal injury compensation claims to a highly cost-efficient debt recovery service.’

Litigation

We regard litigation as a last resort, and always encourage clients to refer their disputes to us at an early stage as careful negotiation can often resolve problems without recourse to the courts. When litigation is unavoidable, we will provide clear advice at the outset on your prospects of success. Our litigators are all experienced in acting for both individuals and businesses across a broad spectrum of disputes, from large commercial cases to debt collection.

Our litigation services include:

  • Commercial disputes
  • Professional negligence
  • Landlord and tenant cases
  • Boundary disputes
  • Mortgage repossessions
  • Intellectual property infringement
  • Criminal defence work
  • Arbitration
  • Mediation

In particularly complex cases we may seek specialist advice from barristers, and will provide you with an estimate of the costs involved. We appreciate that it is a difficult decision to balance these against the prospects of success and will discuss all the options available to fund your case, including the possibility of a conditional fee or ‘no win, no fee’ agreement. We never ignore the possibilities of settlement, even after proceedings have been issued.
