Kidd Rapinet, Farnham, is delighted to announce the appointment of Alan Mason to the firm. The seasoned London lawyer, who already has a strong local presence, has joined the company’s commercial department as a partner.
Admitted to law some 41 years ago, it’s safe to say Alan brings with him a vast amount of experience – 25 years accumulated in London where he became an equity partner in his first firm before going on to establish his own firm in Regent Street. In addition to his London days, he has spent a further 16 years providing commercial and private law services from his home town of Farnham.

Alan has a portfolio of offshore clients and, although he now concentrates on Commercial Property, in all its aspects, his commercial dealings have, in the past, ranged from the protection of international property rights for a well known international brand, to contractual advice for West End musicals. His traveling days have seen him cover many continents and time zones to seal the deal, from, amongst others, projects in Southern Africa, Rhode Island, Madrid, Jersey and Gibraltar, Alan is no stranger to the complexities of international law.
“The move to Kidd Rapinet was very clear for me”, reveals Alan. “There has always been a great atmosphere within the firm and this move allows me to continue to work with more support. I have known Managing Partner, Emma Rowe for some years and I believe together we will offer a formidable partnership.”
Some may say the move to Kidd Rapinet was destiny – in the early 80’s Alan supported a senior partner at a meeting to assist a firm of solicitors looking for an office in London. That firm was Kidd Rapinet.
“Fate or not” concludes Managing Partner Emma Rowe “We are delighted to have Alan join us and we are looking forward to a busy and exciting 2nd half to 2018”
