Philip Wild
Partner, Canary Wharf
I was admitted as a solicitor in 1984, becoming a partner in Kidd Rapinet in 1987. I specialize in company & commercial law, employment law and intellectual property law, with particular expertise in:
- Mergers & acquisitions
- Company secretarial
- Insolvency work
- Commercial agreements
- Intellectual property and information technology
I have clients in the IT and media sectors and act as Company Secretary for a number of residents’ property management companies.
I particularly enjoy getting to grips with complex transactions and drafting clear documents that meet my clients’ business needs and avoid unnecessary legalese.
I blog occasionally on legal issues that I find interesting within my areas of expertise. You can read my Blog at wildslaw.blogspot.co.uk.

“It has been a true pleasure working with you. I know that I speak on behalf of my fellow Directors when I relay our collective appreciation of your efficiency, promptness and professionalism. Knowing that I could rely on your wise counsel greatly facilitated my task.”

Out of Hours
I am married with one son. In my spare time I enjoy board games, science fiction, alternative rock music, supporting Chelsea Football Club and motor racing. I am a keen hillwalker, and am gradually working away at bagging all the Scottish ’Munros’.
